Reviewing your financial aid offer

Your digital award offer is an interactive tool that allows you to:

• Review your financial aid offer
• Explore your direct costs (billable expenses that the student pays directly to the University, including tuition and fees)
• Consider your options to pay any remaining balance after scholarships and grants
• Take action with next steps towards attending the University of Michigan-Dearborn

Awards that have been offered can be accepted through the Financial Aid & Scholarship Self Service Portal. Awards will be listed on the Award Offer Tab. The option to Accept or Decline an award will be listed in a drop-down menu to the right of the award name. Some offers such as loans may have a third option to accept only a portion of an award. These changes can be saved by selecting Submit at the bottom of the page.

If this is your first time borrowing federal loans, you will also need to complete Entrance Counseling and the Master Promissory Note at StudentAid.gov.
