The Go Blue Guarantee is a great benefit to our high achieving students, did you know that 70% of first year students with a family income below 75K* have a HS GPA above 3.5!  However, we are committed to all of our students, so what can students who don’t qualify expect on average to pay?

* Note: The $75,000 income level was approved effective for new students who start Fall 2024 and later. Students previously enrolled are assessed based on a $65,000 family income.

Below are examples of typical tuition support offered to Michigan families beyond the Go Blue Guarantee:

* Total Family Income  Under $75K

$0  after scholarships and grants

Total Family Income  $75-95K

$3,500  average tuition paid per year after scholarships and grants

* Net Amount Paid is before loans, and is based on a combination of Institutional and State programs, such as the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, that new incoming Fall 2024 students are eligible to receive.

"Our campus has been piloting this program for the past year aligned with our need-first financial aid strategy. Today’s announcement of the extension of the Go Blue Guarantee will help to supplement the already significant investment that UM-Dearborn has been providing during the pilot program." -- Domenico Grasso, Chancellor
