Go Blueprint for Success executive progress report (November 17, 2022)

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to share an update on our Go Blueprint for Success strategic plan. We continue to make significant headway on implementing and tracking the numerous strategies and tactics identified by the campus community. 

Please take a moment to review the recently updated strategic planning website and academic year first quarter executive summary report. I hope you all will join me in taking great pride in how we are positioning UM-Dearborn, Michigan’s Practice-Based University, for sustained success.

I want to thank the many people who have been working hard to turn this plan into a reality. I hope you had the opportunity to participate in the key performance indicators (KPIs) campus forum yesterday. These KPIs have been reviewed and discussed with many groups including the Faculty and Staff Senates, Student Government, the Citizens Advisory Committee and the National Advisory Council. Next quarter’s executive summary report will be devoted to sharing our KPIs with the entire campus community. 

You will also be receiving a copy of our strategic plan at your homes next week. I encourage you to place the plan near your workstation as a reminder and guide of the key initiatives that will aid us in fulfilling our mission and enable UM-Dearborn to continue providing transformative education for decades to come.
