Happy New Year and MLK Day of Service (January 8, 2024)

Dear Colleagues and Students,

I hope everyone had a restful, healthy, and peaceful holiday break and is ready to start another inspiring semester.

Exciting events and projects are planned across campus all semester long.

As has been our tradition, the week of January 15 the university will be celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. by working on service projects, hosting talks and workshops, and engaging in a much needed peace rally between UM-Dearborn and Henry Ford College. There remain opportunities open for the 31st Annual Day of Service. I hope you can participate in many of these activities next week.

I wish everyone a happy, productive, and rewarding New Year, and may it begin with a National Football Championship over the Huskies tonight!
