Looking ahead to Fall 2025
Financial Aid Implications Based on Courses in Program of Study-Effective Fall 2025
Carefully selecting and scheduling courses each term is key to finishing your program on time and minimizing extra costs. By choosing courses that are required for your degree, you’ll avoid unnecessary tuition fees and ensure you meet financial aid eligibility, as the U.S. Department of Education only funds courses that apply to your program. The University’s Courses in Program of Study (CPoS) process, powered by Degree Works, reviews your course registration and notifies you if any courses don’t apply to your program. This gives you time to adjust your schedule, helping you stay on track for timely graduation while potentially reducing costs and student loan debt. For more details, check out the FAQ website.
