Ahmet M. Tuncez, Ph.D. joined the College of Business in 2020. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from Texas A&M University, his master's degree in Economics from Bogazici University, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. Prior to joining UM-Dearborn, he taught at Adrian College in Michigan. He regularly teaches Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, and Managerial Economics courses.

Dr. Tuncez's research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), executive compensation, corporate hedging, and mergers and acquisitions (M&As). His papers have been published in journals such as Financial Management and Critical Finance Review.
