Andy Dean

As a Senior Academic Advisor at the College of Business, Andy Dean supports students as they navigate the complexities of higher education, including degree progression and university policies. He works closely with students to help them understand their academic options and make informed decisions that keep them moving toward graduation.

Before joining the College of Business, Andy served as a Transfer Admission Advisor at the University of Toledo for five years. In that role, he helped transfer students transition into the university environment and find their path toward completing a degree. His experience working with a wide range of students shaped his commitment to providing personalized support and guidance.

What inspired him to work here?

Andy enjoys getting to know each student he meets and learning what motivates them to achieve their best. He is passionate about supporting students throughout their educational journeys and about finding ways to bring a positive perspective to their experiences in higher education. Helping students feel supported, confident, and empowered in their academic decisions is what drives his work.
