Biography and Education

Azeem teaches courses in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department. He completed his PhD in ECE from UOM with an honor scholar award in 2020. Besides teaching courses in ECE, he is serving as a committee member in the Driving Simulator Lab. He is also advisor for Intelligent Systems Club and Formula SAE Electric. His areas of expertise include Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Vehicular Security and Embedded Systems. His research is to analyze any form of signal (Communication signals in vehicles, audio signals, image signals etc.) at lowest level, and apply AI techniques to ensure security for human safety and privacy. His endeavor is to continue his signal processing and artificial intelligence research in the advancement of the automotive security and autonomy of vehicles.
