Bushra Hussain, Ph.D.
Teaching Areas:
PhysicsResearch Areas:
Magnetics nanostructure, Magnetization dynamics, Novel low-dimensional magnetic systems, Quantum theory of condensed matter systemsBiography and Education
Dr. Hussain received her PhD degree in Physics in the area of Medical Physics from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Her previous education included M.S. degree in Physics from Eastern Michigan University and M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons), both in Physics, from University of Karachi, Pakistan. She has extensive experience of teaching physics in the USA, Canada, and Pakistan and a record of industrial research.
Her research focus in the five years before joining the faculty of the University of Michigan-Dearborn was in theoretical condensed matter physics, especially the study of magnetization dynamics of low-dimensional magnetic nanostructures. She is looking for students interested to participate in research training in this field.
