Biography and Education

Dr. Hollweg has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, obtained in Dec. 2016. He also has a master's and Ph.D in electrical engineering from UFSM, obtained in July 2019 and Dec. 2021, respectively. His main lines of research are: Adaptive Control Theory, Optimization Algorithms and Control Applications in Power Electronics. He is currently a Research Investigator and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Michigan - Dearborn (UofM-D), Dearborn, USA. He has authored 20+ research articles in acclaimed engineering and control journals. Furthermore, he is an active member of the IEEE community and serves as a peer reviewer for esteemed journals under IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley.
