Biography and Education

Dr. Agarwal earned his bachelor's in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, the University of Delhi; his masters from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2007. After finishing his postdoctoral work at McMaster University, Ontario, he joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn as an Assistant Professor in 2009.

Dr. Agarwal's research interests are in Number Theory and Data Science. He is also interested in math education. He has played an active role in introducing WeBWork, an online assignment platform, in the department.
