Rick Morrone

I'm an energetic, enthusiastic media specialist in the Journalism and Media Production department, the same department I graduated from here. My daily goal is to inspire, empower, and mentor students in their various media production assignments and career goals. 

I am a certified Adobe Professional video editor and come from a career background of advertising production. Outside of the University, my creative endeavors range from video content creation, music production/performance, event production, VoiceOver and On-Camera acting.  All of which combine for a well rounded, robust skillset that I can use to pass along knowledge and experience to students here at the University.  

In 2025, I received the Student Success Award at the 2025 Chancellor's Staff Recognition Ceremony.  It's a great honor, and I continue to strive for the success of our students, staff and faculty.
