Biography and Education
As the Internship and Academic Senior Program Manager at the College of Business, Rita Agius leads efforts to strengthen internship and career pathways by collaborating with new and existing employer partners. She oversees the internship program, instructs the Business Internship (BI) courses as well as BA300: Career and Development, and provides individualized career coaching, approaching each interaction with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Rita’s professional background encompasses instruction, academic advising, and career development within the fields of business and social sciences, supported by practical experience as an entrepreneur. She is committed to helping students think strategically about their professional goals while equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for long-term success.
What inspired her to work here?
After working across several institutions, Rita chose to build her career at the University of Michigan–Dearborn because of its deep commitment to student success.
