Prof. Rawashdeh is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. He received the BSEE from the University of Jordan in 2007 and the MSEE in 2010 and PhD in 2013 from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky working with the Space Systems Laboratory. Before joining the University of Michigan, his prior appointments include lecturing in Embedded Systems at the University of Kentucky, post-doctoral research with the Space Systems Laboratory, and a visiting position with SSBV Space and Ground Systems in the United Kingdom. His research interests include unmanned vehicles, embedded systems, machine vision, and wearable technology.
