Biography and Education

W.E. Da’Cruz is a Lecturer in the College of Business at University of Michigan–Dearborn, where she teaches entrepreneurship and foundational business courses. She is a doctoral candidate (DBA) at the University of Michigan–Flint, where her research focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship, non-market strategy, leadership, and technology in uncertain and highly regulated environments.

Da’Cruz is an award-winning entrepreneur and global advisor with over a decade of experience spanning technology, food manufacturing, and international development. Her teaching and scholarship are informed by active industry practice, with specialization in entrepreneurial strategy, innovation ecosystems, digital transformation, and global market entry. She regularly serves as a consultant and lecturer on technology-forward initiatives and leadership development across domestic and international contexts.
