Biography and Education

Yiwan Ye is an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, Dearborn, in the Department of Health and Human Services. He earned his doctorate in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. He also holds Master's Degrees in Sociology and Applied Quantitative Research from UC Davis and New York University respectively. His passion lies in teaching and researching social, racial/ethnic, and generational disparities in health and well-being around the world. Yiwan is skilled in quantitative research, specifically multilevel modeling and age-period-cohort analysis. He has published research in leading international peer-reviewed journals in population health and research methodology.
