Biography and Education

With Gesa Kirsch, I edited Beyond the Archives: Research as Lived Process (Southern Illinois Press, 2008). My research, that reflects my ongoing interests in pedagogy, feminist research methods and America’s progressive era, has appeared in journals such as Rhetoric Review, Composition Studies, Pedagogy, JAEPL, Reflections, Composition Forum, Peitho, and also in several book chapters.

I edited the diaries of a historical college student, John Price, that is published online in cooperation with Denison University and the Five Colleges of Ohio Digital Depository.
