The Engineering Design certificate combines principles of engineering science with methods of design to find solutions of practical engineering problems. The certificate program offers you the opportunity to deepen your understanding of engineering design in the mechanical engineering area.
You can apply the nine credits you earn for the certificate to an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. All classes are offered on campus, and some are occasionally offered online.
