From Battery Technology to Hybrid Drives
Explore the fundamental principles of vehicle electrification and their application to emerging automotive technologies in this graduate certificate program from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. In four courses, you’ll learn about automotive powertrains, vehicle electronics, battery technology, electric and hybrid drives, fuel cells, and much more.
You can take all courses for the 12-credit certificate in person, online, or a combination of both. We schedule them in the late afternoon and evening so they’re convenient for part-time students who work. You can apply credits earned for the certificate toward graduate degrees offered by UM-Dearborn’s Department of Mechanical Engineering.
With an automotive industry quickly transitioning to alternative energy sources, this program couldn’t be more timely or helpful to automotive engineers.
