Special Notice about HHS with Pre-Health Professions Degree Program:
The Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Services with Pre-Health Professions Degree is targeted for students who wish to pursue advanced medical degrees beyond the bachelor’s level, such as Medicine, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Occupational Thery, Dental, Pharmacy, etc.
UM-Dearborn has a Health Professions Advising (HPA) Team, in addition to your CEHHS Academic Advisors, who will assist you on your journey, after transfer. It is encouraged to visit the HPA website to learn more about the rigor of an advanced health profession, courses needed in addition to bachelor’s degree requirements, and the requirements/testing needed for each field.

- When pursuing a Schoolcraft College degree work closely with a Schoolcraft and University of Michigan-Dearborn advisor to ensure BOTH the Schoolcraft and UM-Dearborn degree requirements are being met.
- A minimum cumulative 2.50 GPA or better is required for admission.
- With this agreement, UM-Dearborn will accept 72 credits from Schoolcraft College, which exceeds the maximum of 62 for transfer students. UM-Dearborn requires 48 credits of upper level coursework (300 level courses or higher, or direct equivalents).
- Schoolcraft College and UM-Dearborn reserve the right to make any necessary changes to courses, provisions, or transfer requirements without notice.
