2024 Arab American Studies Association Conference

The Center for Arab American Studies (CAAS) at UM-Dearborn is co-sponsoring the 2024 Arab American Studies Conference held at the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn from April 12-14.

We are proud to have several CAAS faculty presenting at the conference this year. Please support our wonderful faculty Cam Amin, Reem Abou-Samra, Pauline Homsi Vinson, Sally Howell, Hani Bawardi, Rose Wellman, and Wessam Elmeligi who are all are participating in the conference.

Events begin Friday April 12th at 3 p.m. with refreshments, a roundtable discussion at 5 p.m. and a performance at 7 p.m. Saturday April 13th includes several sessions, an artist talk and workshop, as well as dinner with a community gathering honoring Arab American Heritage month and a poetry reading and musical performance. Sunday April 14th includes morning sessions and closes with lunch.
