Join us Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 1 pm in the James C. Rennick University Center at Kochoff Hall for a conversation with Mr. John Carlos. He is best known for his activism at the 1968 Olympic Games, where he stood on the Olympic podium with his fist raised to bring awareness to the struggle for civil rights in the United States. Mr. Carlos will speak on his experience after returning home from the games and why fighting for social change through unconventional methods is imperative.
