For:

Everyone
Saturday, February 17, 2024
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Environmental Interpretive Center, Main Lobby, Outdoor in Environmental Study Area (map)

Due to high demand we have reached Capacity and closed registration. Thank you for the overwhelming support!

See you Saturday those that scheduled to volunteer.

Please consider volunteering to sign up with sap collection next week!

Annually the EIC taps Maple Trees in the Environmental Study Area, on UM-Dearborn's campus, for making Maple Syrup. We are looking for volunteers to help us start up the maple syrup making process.

If you are looking for a great cure for cabin fever is to walk out to the sugar bush to get the maple sugaring season started. Tap into the fun and enjoy a forest walk with the EIC naturalists to hang sap buckets on the maple trees. We can't make syrup without the sap!

No experience required to help. Please register for this volunteer opportunity. This fun event is held outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.
