SUBJECT: Celebrate Student Research! SURE Showcase - September 17, 4-6pm

On behalf of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) and Experience+ I am excited to announce the 6th annual SURE Showcase, which will be held in Kochoff Hall, Renick University Center on Tuesday, September 17, 4-6pm.

The SURE Showcase is an opportunity for undergraduates to present what they have learned through their summer research experience to a large audience. The Showcase provides a forum for students, faculty, and the campus community to discuss cutting edge research topics and to examine the connection between research, classroom learning, and professional development. This event includes presentations by 49 students from all academic disciplines and mentored by faculty from all four UM-Dearborn colleges. 

Introductory remarks will start shortly after 4pm followed by poster sessions and awards. Attendees are encouraged to vote for the “People’s Choice Award” in addition to selections by a panel of judges from across the colleges and the Mardigian Library. Light refreshments will be served.
