March 18, 2024 at 12:07 PM
Dear Colleagues,
The Provost’s Office and the Office of Research are excited to invite you to attend an upcoming Panel Discussion on Campus Grants. All are welcome to attend and learn about internal funding opportunities available to Dearborn faculty. This event will be held in person on Tuesday, April 2 from 3-4:30pm in Kochoff Hall C. Refreshments will be provided.
The Campus Grants Program is an important part of research development at UM-Dearborn and supports a wide range of research and scholarly activities, including interdisciplinary research. Please join us for an overview of the Competitive and Open Invitation programs presented by Vess Vassileva-Clarke, Director of Research Development. Our panelists from across the campus bring a wealth of experience in successfully securing funding from various sponsors. Many panelists have also used internal campus grants to pursue and complete larger projects. The panelists include:
- Pam Aronson, Behavioral Sciences
- Anda Botoseneanu, Health and Human Services
- Matthew Heinicke, Biology
- Alireza Mohammadi, Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Carmel Price, Behavioral Sciences
If you are thinking about funding for a project, big or small, please join us to make connections and get advice.
Please RSVP by March 27 using this link: Registration Form
We hope to see you there! If you have any questions please reach out to Joan Remski ([email protected]) or Vess Vassileva-Clarke ([email protected]).
All the best,
Joan
