SUBJECT: 2023 Faculty Media Training

Dear Colleagues,
The Office of the Provost and the Office of External Relations are pleased to be hosting two Faculty Media Trainings in November. The trainings are designed to help faculty prepare for and feel confident conducting print and broadcast interviews. They will be led by Fernanda Pires of Michigan News at U-M.
Sessions will be small, with ample time for questions and individual attention. Any faculty member who interacts with the media currently or is planning to interact with media in the future is highly encouraged to attend this training.
The November 1 session will be tailored to faculty in CEHHS, COB and the humanities. The November 7 session will be tailored to faculty in CECS and the sciences. However, you may attend the session that best fits your schedule.
These are in-person trainings and they will not be recorded. Seating is limited, so we encourage you to register early.
