SUBJECT: Reminder – HLC Open Forums and the Drop-in Session set for Monday and Tuesday

Good morning!

As a reminder, the Higher Learning Commission is visiting our campus on Monday and Tuesday of next week (for additional information and resources please visit our HLC preparation webpage). There will be open forums (light refreshments provided at each forum) and a drop-in session, as detailed below. 

• Open Forum #1 (Criterion 1. University Mission & Criterion 2. Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct) which will be held from 10:10 am to 11:00 am, on Tuesday, November 14 at Kochoff Hall in the Renick University Center. You can RSVP here to attend open forum #1.
   

• Open Forum #2 (Topics: Criterion 3. Teaching and Learning: Quality, Resources, and Support & Criterion 4. Teaching and Learning: Evaluation and Improvement), Monday, November 13, from 2:00 pm to 3:05 pm at Kochoff Hall in the Renick University Center. RSVP here to attend open forum #2.
   

• Open Forum #3 (Topics: Criterion 5. Institutional Effectiveness, Resources and Planning & the future), Tuesday, November 14, from 10:10 am to 11:00 am at Kochoff Hall in the Renick University Center.  RSVP here to attend open forum #3. 

The drop-in session will be held on Tuesday, November 14, from 11:30 am to 12:20 pm for any UM-Dearborn campus community member to speak confidentially with a Higher Learning Commission review team member. The drop-in session will be held in the RUC in room 2190.
