Mission Statement

Student Accounts is dedicated to providing superior customer service, ethical professional standards, and fostering the fiscal learning experience through accountability and integrity among our students, families, and the University of Michigan-Dearborn community.  Our experienced team of staff members strives to empower and assist our customers to meet financial obligations and provide financial transactions with innovation and efficiency.

Students have 24/7 computer, smartphone, and tablet access to a wide range of features and services available at the Student Accounts Self-Service website.  Students can use this to pay their tuition charges online, view billing statements and courses using eStatements, sign up for semester long payment plans, set up checking or savings accounts to receive Direct Deposited Refunds, and pay the enrollment deposit online using a electronic check.  We are glad to offer flexible ways for students to conveniently review their assessments and pay at any time.

One Stop Student Services Virtual Front Desk

Using a Zoom virtual conference calling app, you may contact staff at One Stop Student Services representing Student Accounts office to ask questions about your student account. If you have not used Zoom before, please visit Installing Zoom on Your Device. If you have not used the remote office hours queue before, please visit Remote Office Hours - Attendee.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Consideration

Student Accounts office will be operating under reduced hours until further notice with limited functions. Please remember the Student Accounts Self-Service website will still be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make electronic checking payments, credit card payments, view student account activity, and check your refund status.  All other concerns can be addressed by emailing myaccount@umich.edu and including your University ID. Student Accounts will respond to your email in a timely manner, and appreciates your understanding and patience through these challenging times. 1-Stop staff available to answer student account questions may be contacted by phone Monday through Friday from 9am - 4pm at 313-593-5255. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships can now be reached in special sections on their website.

The University of Michigan Credit Union is available to accept cash payments for your University of Michigan-Dearborn student account. In addition to the University Center branch, multiple branches of UMCU outside of the University Center are able to accept this payment. Please visit our Payment Methods page for more information.

Please note that due to exigent circumstances, Tuition and Fees apply regardless of the method of instruction, including in the event instruction occurs remotely or in alternative formats for any part of the academic year.

Location

The Student Accounts Office is located in Room 1187 of the University Center next to the UM Credit Union, but is not available to process in-person payments. A physical drop box is available outside the University Center building. Please email our office at myaccount@umich.edu with any account related questions.
