Planet Blue Ambassadors
Since 2011, the Planet Blue Ambassador program has served as a gateway for students, faculty, staff, and alumni at the UM-Ann Arbor campus to learn how to live more sustainably. As of March 2022, UM-Dearborn has its own version of the Planet Blue Ambassador (PBA) program — tailored just for our campus!
Mission
The Planet Blue Ambassador program empowers all faculty, staff, and students to become engaged in sustainability and lead by personal action. Ambassadors form a continuous learning community to advance UM’s commitments and move towards a campus-wide culture of sustainability.
Join our community!
One of the main components of the PBA program is a training that empowers participants with the information needed to live, work, learn, and play sustainably at UM-Dearborn and beyond. Here’s a preview of what you can expect to learn after completing the training:
- Sustainability – what does it mean?
- All about UM’s Carbon Neutrality Commitments.
- Unique tips and skills to contribute to a more sustainable future for all.
- How UM-Dearborn is making progress toward a more sustainable campus.
- Pathways to get involved with Sustainability at UM-Dearborn and take action.
