Before enrolling in the certificate program, you must:

  • Make an appointment with the French studies director
  • Bring an unofficial copy of your transcript showing a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
  • Complete an application form
  • Complete fourth-semester French (French 202) or equivalent by placement test

All credits you earn with this certificate can be applied toward the French studies major or minor, the international studies-French major, and other certificates.
