Undecided: Explore Your Options

Being undecided provides an opportunity to explore your interests, assess your goals and look for a major that is the right fit for you. And remember: many employers are much more interested in the experience you bring to a job than your specific major.

You will be able to remain “undecided” until the end of your sophomore year. While completing your general education coursework, you will have many opportunities to explore academic disciplines by taking introductory and/or exploratory courses offered by our four colleges and schools. Upon reaching junior standing, it is generally expected that you will have officially declared a major.

No matter when you declare, we will provide a range of support and resources to assist and guide you toward graduation and beyond.
