Academic Requirements and Documents Needed by Country
If you are a student who has completed multiple school curriculums, such as IB or A-Level, please review all applicable categories and submit all required academic credentials based on your country and curriculum.
All correspondence must be in English and must contain the full name of the applicant with the family name underlined.
Please note: Applicants must certify that all documents submitted as part of their application for admission are authentic. Any falsification of academic records through omission or misstatement may result in cancellation of admission and/or other disciplinary action by the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Each student is responsible for all information contained in the student’s application for admission even if a consultant is employed in the application process.
UM-Dearborn does not require a third-party credential evaluation, however, we strongly encourage course-by-course evaluations for non-international secondary school curricula in order to expedite the application review process and aid our students in their future endeavors including U.S. job applications, other higher education institution applications, or meeting professional licensure or certification requirements.
We accept course-by-course evaluations from the following services:
- Educational Credential Evaluators
- World Education Services (Course-by-Course ICAP type)
- SpanTran (Course Analysis type)
- Educational Perspectives
Course-by-course evaluations from other NACES members may be utilized on a case-by-case basis.
If your country is not listed, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at [email protected] for assistance.
