Bryan Dadey

Bryan joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn in February 2021 as the Vice Chancellor of Business Affairs / Chief Financial Officer. Bryan has extensive executive level experience in the higher education industry serving in various leadership roles at Wayne State University, University of Toledo, and University of Toledo Foundation (UT Foundation). Prior to joining UM-Dearborn, Bryan served as Sr. Associate Vice President of Finance / Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Wayne State University overseeing the divisions of Treasury, Bursar, Risk Management, Budget & Planning, and Fiscal Operations. Bryan spent nearly 14 years at the University of Toledo serving in various roles including Associate Vice President of Finance, Controller, Assistant Controller, and Vice President of Finance and Operations of the UT Foundation. Bryan started his professional career in public accounting at Ernst & Young LLP serving clients in higher education, health care, and not-for-profit.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo.
Dawn Roult

Dawn Roult serves as the Director of Finance and Controller for the University of Michigan-Dearborn. In this role, she leads a team of five and oversees the campus’s financial operations, with a focus on strategic budgeting, robust internal controls, and sound fiscal management.
Dawn brings over 20 years of experience across public accounting, private industry, and higher education finance. Prior to joining the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2013, she spent five years as an auditor in public accounting and an additional five years in the private sector.
She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Controllership, as well as an MBA with a concentration in Finance, all from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Michigan since 2008, Dawn is committed to financial integrity and continuous improvement in financial stewardship within the higher education environment.

Beth joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn in June 2024 as the Manager of Student Accounts. Beth has over 15 years of experience in higher education administration. Prior to joining the University of Michigan-Dearborn, she held various positions at Eastern Michigan University, including Assistant Controller for Student Business Services and Process Coordinator for Student Business Services and Systems Administrator.
Beth holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Health Administration (BA) from Eastern Michigan University.
Kevin Elder

Kevin joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn in April 2025 as Senior Project Manager. Kevin has extensive experience in multiple industries including telecommunications, automotive, market research and food manufacturing. Prior to joining UM-Dearborn, Kevin served as Director, Strategy & Business Planning for Dawn Foods. Kevin spent 8 years at Dawn Foods serving in several additional roles: Director Global People & Culture, Chief of Staff, and Sr. Manager Market Research. Kevin began his career in Finance, working for Nortel, a telecommunications company and has also had a number of cross-functional experiences working for Ford Motor Company, Mazda, Hyundai and Nielsen.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley and a Masters of Science in Management with a concentration in Finance from Purdue University.

Paul Tennies joined the University of Michigan-Dearborn in April 2024, bringing over two decades of law enforcement experience to his current role of Chief of Police. Previously, Paul served with the Northville Township Police Department for 20 years, ultimately retiring as Chief of Police. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration from Concordia University–Ann Arbor and a Master of Science in Technology and Homeland Security Management from Eastern Michigan University. Paul is also a graduate of the Eastern Michigan University School of Police Staff and Command and PERF’s Senior Management Institute for Policing
