There is an increasing demand for both the BS in Computer and Information Science (BS-CIS) and the BS in Data Science (BS-DATA). This CIS and DATA dual degree program enables students to earn two degrees, i.e., BS-CIS and BS-DATA, at the same time.

Curriculum Requirements

A student in the CIS and DATA dual degree program must enter the Computer Science (CS) concentration of the BS-CIS. The program requires a minimum of 17 credit hours of additional coursework beyond the 120 credits required for the BS-CIS (or BS-DATA) alone.

Please note that beginning in Fall 2015, all freshmen must follow the Dearborn Discovery Core (DDC) requirements.

Curriculum requirement sheets and sample course sequences are available through the Office of Advising and Academic Success.
