Individual Only / $1200 Monetary Award
About This Award
The Innovation Award will be presented to an individual staff member who has demonstrated a commitment to creative thinking and addressing challenges by:
- Developing and implementing solutions that maximize efficiencies;
- Exploring alternative uses of campus resources;
- Incorporating the principles of a positive campus environment.
Award Type
Individual Only / $1200 Monetary Award
About This Award
The Student Success Award will be presented to an individual staff member who has directly or indirectly impacted student success by:
- Assisting in the delivery of a transformational educational experience;
- Evaluating student support systems for optimal use;
- Promoting or increasing access to educational and financial support and resources.

Individual Only / $1200 Monetary Award
About This Award
The Staff Development Award will be presented to an individual staff member who has encouraged and promoted the development of other UM-Dearborn staff by:
- Providing quality training and/or professional development opportunities to increase individual and organizational productivity and job satisfaction;
- Leveraging technology, where applicable, to increase accessibility to all employees;
- Promoting a culture of professional development within an individual office or campus wide.
- *Nominees are not required to be in a supervisory position.
Award Type
Team Only / $700 Monetary Award Per Team Member, or if more than seven team members, $5000 maximum to be divided equally between team members
About This Award
The Advancing the Mission Award will be presented to a team whose performance has extended beyond expectations and has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to advancing the UM-Dearborn mission by either:
- Working together on a project designed to implement a goal conceptualized by the Strategic Planning Committee;
- Working together to develop and implement an idea contributing to the promotion of a major initiative that would improve our performance and foster an environment of innovation and change.

Individual Only / $1200 Monetary Award
About This Award
The Community Engagement Award will be presented to an individual staff member who has engaged with local partners and the community to either:
- Bolster the reputation and increase awareness of UM-Dearborn throughout the metropolitan community;
- Develop an ongoing outreach strategy that promotes campus offerings and achievements;
- Expand the role of UM-Dearborn as a community resource and partner.

Individual Only / $1200 Monetary Award
About This Award
The Dearborn Victor Award will be presented to an individual staff member whose actions personify diversity, equity, and inclusion and who has positively impacted the lives of others on campus by:
- Positively influencing a program or organization from behind the scenes
- Demonstrating a willingness to help in whatever capacity necessary, providing support services to the University, and illustrating a commitment to excellence
- Produces high-quality work that allows the University to run smoothly
- Shows dedication to the University through their initiative and outstanding customer service to employees, students, and visitors, treating others with dignity and respect
- Serves as a role model, mentor, and dependable team player
