Goals and Purpose of Student Advisory Committee

• Provide student feedback to the Dean of Students at regularly scheduled meetings on university-wide issues, including topics concerning the quality of student life and the co-curricular experience of UM-Dearborn students
• Identify University stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff, and engage with these partners to promote DOS’ mission and programs 
• Meet with a variety of University administrators to learn about campus services, operations, and future initiatives to provide a students’ valuable perspective
• Offer a unique opportunity to gain leadership development through activities that promote learning beyond the classroom
• Host an annual forum seeking feedback from the student body to offer input and express concerns and ideas related to enhancing the student experience (in partnership with Student Government)
