Student Scheduling Directions

Schedule an appointment through the My UM-Dearborn student portal to talk with one of our Disability and Accessibility Coordinators, Judith Walker or Hillary Degner-Miller, who can discuss how we may be able to best assist you and your needs. Students must meet with a Disability and Accessibility Services Coordinator every semester they need accommodations. 

1. Sign into My UM-Dearborn
2. Click the yellow “Schedule an Appointment” button
3. Choose the Assigned tab, scroll down to Disability Services OR type Disability in the search box to pull up our office.
4. Click Anyone on this Team option.
5. Select one of the three types of appointment options.
   • If it is your first time registering with our office, please schedule an Intake Appointment. You will discuss your diagnosis and any documentation you have during the appointment.
   • If you are a returning disability and accessibility services student looking to re-register for the current semester, please schedule a Re-Enrollment Appointment. 
   • If you would like to meet with a Disability and Accessibility Coordinator for any other reason, please schedule a Follow-Up Appointment.  
6. You will also see a Coaching appointment option. These appointments are available to students after they have registered with our office. 
7. Scroll through the availability. Pay attention to the appointment if it is Virtual (zoom meeting) or In Person (at 262 Fairlane Center North).
8. Once you click on an available option, select Schedule Virtual/In-Person Appointment and you are scheduled

Now you have successfully scheduled an appointment to meet with a Disability and Accessibility Services Coordinator.
