Mission, Vision and Values
Our Mission
The Mission of Disability and Accessibility Services is to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to all university programs and activities. We provide students the opportunity to reach their full potential by coordinating academic accommodations and support services. Disability and Accessibility Services works collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to build and maintain partnerships allowing for an inclusive educational environment. We serve as a valuable resource for the University of Michigan Dearborn campus community in supporting the success of students with disabilities; cultivating opportunities for students to articulate their strengths and responding to the student needs and learning environments.
Our Vision
Disability and Accessibility Services envisions a universally inclusive campus community where all individuals are seen as valued and contributing leaders of society. We strive to become a model program serving students with disabilities in higher education.
