Electric Vehicle Center Introduction and Project Ideation Process Webinar

On behalf of Alan Taub, Robert H. Lurie Professor of Engineering and Director of the UM Electric Vehicle Center, UM-Dearborn faculty are invited to attend a webinar to learn more about the EV Center and project ideation process. 

The U-M EV Center was established last year with an investment of $130M from the State of Michigan's Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). Funding includes $20M for workforce development and education and $50M for technology innovation.

For the technology portfolio, priority areas are:

  • Batteries
  • Drive Module System Optimization and Integration
  • Vehicle/Component End of Life
  • Data Collection, Modelling & Analysis
  • Electric Infrastructure and Charging Equipment
  • Thermal Management
  • Raw Materials and Supply Chain
  • Light-weighting
