Wikipedia-Edit-A-Thon: Celebrating Arab American Authors

The Mardigian Library in partnership with the First Year Experience Committee will be hosting a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon event in celebration of Arab American Heritage Month. This year's campus read, Hadha Baladuna, highlighted local authors and stories of the Arab American community on our campus, and this edit-a-thon extends this spotlight to Wikipedia. We will focus on training new editors and making incremental improvements to existing pages around the topic of the  contributions of Arab Americans to literature, poetry, academic writing, journalism, and theater.
