Emergency Resources

The University has emergency funds that may be able to assist with unexpected circumstances. Each situation will be evaluated by the University and awarded on a first come, first serve basis as funding allows. Various resources are used to support these requests. Complete of the FAFSA is strongly encouraged for maximum consideration.

Emergency request considers such needs as:

  • Housing insecurities
  • Food insecurities
  • Tuition Support due to limited remaining eligibility of the Federal Pell Grant or Federal Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans
  • Emergency medical or dental expenses
  • Car Repairs
  • Technology Needs

Information regarding the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) expenditures can be found here.

Emergency Resource Application Process

At this time, we are not accepting applications for emergency relief funding. If you believe that you have an unplanned emergency need for funds, please sign into your Student Portal and make an appointment with a financial aid advisor to speak about your situation.

This website will be updated, and students will be communicated with about opportunities for emergency funding that may be available in the future.

Encountering Financial Change?

If your family is encountering a change in financial circumstances, please review our Special Circumstance Information for guidance on submitting that request.

Student Food Pantry

The Student Food Pantry exists to support students on their journey as they work toward achieving their goals. The Food Pantry, in just the short time it's been open, has distributed nearly 4,000 pounds of food.  In addition, the Food Pantry has raised over 4,500 pounds of food and toiletry items, as well as $3,500 in financial contributions since that time.
