Data and Dashboards
The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness uses various methods to ensure data is available to the campus community and our stakeholders.
Below are various ways in which institutional data is available.
Tableau Public
For better data self-service, we provide public dashboards for enrollment and retention data
Tableau Internal
For a better data-self service to our internal audience, we provide a more comprehensive set of analytical tools. These dashboards have a more detailed level of filtering and a wider option of views.
Business Objects
Business Objects is UM-Dearborn’s enterprise reporting platform designed to provide timely, self-service access to operational data, allowing users to generate reports efficiently without recurring requests to IRE and the ITS Applications Team.
