Your safety and well-being while abroad is our top priority. To best prepare for your trip, please review these resources.

Travel Abroad Health Insurance

Students participating in UM-related travel are required to purchase travel abroad health insurance. For faculty-led programs, insurance will be purchased on the students' behalf. For exchange and third-party programs, students register themselves.

Register Your Travel

Registering your travel with the university allows us to locate and contact you in case of emergency. The Global Engagement team will register all faculty-led travel. Those participating in exchange or third party programs must register themselves.
