Past Projects
The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program was created to assist in formalizing existing opportunities and to expand participation of undergraduate students in faculty-led research projects.
The pilot program during the summer of 2018 included students from all four UM-Dearborn colleges which were funded by the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, with supplemental funding from the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters and the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Due to COVID-19, the SURE 2020 program did not take place. The SURE 2021 program was conducted virtually, and SURE 2022 returned to in-person.
Congratulations to all of our researchers and student researchers! We hope this experience was an interesting, engaging and a good learning experience for all! Check out past projects conducted by SURE faculty and students!
SURE 2024 students presented their research in the largest SURE Showcase yet with 49 projects in total! View the program from the September 2024 Showcase here.
