Ali Reda Jeafar

Ali is a returning student and consultant who is double majoring in Political Science and Economics. Outside of school, he works at the Detroit Police Department as a Telecommunications Crime Reporting Operator and also likes to read, watch anime, and play his violin.

Ali did go to Law School for a year and half, but, after realizing that it was not for him, he dropped out and has come back to UM-Dearborn hoping to start a new path forward working in civil service and the public sector.

Penny Kane

Penny is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies with concentrations in communications, criminology and criminal justice, and public health. She is a 4+1 student working on her Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice while also completing her undergraduate degree. Outside of classes, she is an advocate for criminal justice reform. She enjoys baking, musicals, travel, and everyday life.

Jason has earned a degree in English, along with his Writing Certificate from UM-Dearborn. On campus, Amanda has organized around mental health, education justice, university funding equity, and more. Amanda holds the distinction of being a UM-Dearborn Difference Maker.
