Mission Statement
In keeping with the UM-Dearborn Campus and the Facilities Operations Mission Statement, Custodial Services will use our knowledge, skill, and friendly customer service to professionally provide a clean, safe, and functional environment for students, faculty, staff, and all our visitors.
What We Do
The role of custodial services is to ensure that campus facilities and assets are clean, safe, and functional. Our custodial team performs routine cleaning work such as vacuuming, dusting, trash disposal, and restocking. The crew also assists with event set ups by delivering and arranging event equipment such as tables, chairs, and garbage boxes.
Our Custodial Team
Although you may see different custodians in your building at different times, their main building assignments are listed below. If your building is not listed, then it is maintained by contract services (GDI) during evening hours.
