UM-Dearborn's Academic Canvas is the platform used for all for-credit online courses, as well as some assignments, discussions, and resources for hybrid and on-campus classes. This portal page will provide you with up-to-date Academic Canvas policies, help & support, and other more specific information for faculty and students.
Canvas for Tablets and Mobile Devices
Most Canvas features will work and give the best user experience with the web browsers installed on the devices; however, mobile browsers are not officially supported by Canvas. Canvas has both iOS and Android mobile apps available (and different apps for student or faculty functionality), though the mobile apps are very limited and may not be able to display all content, assignments, quizzes, etc. To login to any of the mobile apps, please enter "canvas.umd.umich.edu" when prompted to select a school.
IMPORTANT: Using a web browser on a desktop or laptop computer (not a tablet or mobile device) is highly recommended for most activity, most importantly when viewing videos, taking quizzes, or submitting assignments in Canvas.
