Interdepartmental Mailing

Interdepartmental Mail is picked up and delivered once a day between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. It is essential that you include the first and last name and the department of the person receiving the mail.

University of Michigan campus mail envelopes are available to all departments for these deliveries and are reusable for future intercampus mailings.

Campus-wide memo or flyer distribution can be dropped off at the mailroom.  For entire campus distribution, please supply 850 in fall and winter semesters and 400 during spring and summer semesters.

Transportation is provided to the Ann Arbor campus for delivery of interdepartmental mail, hand carries and pickups on Tuesdays. The courier leaves Dearborn promptly at 12:30 pm.

For a hand carry delivery or pickup, please prepare a green hand-carry form, available from the mailroom, and include all the information requested.
