The Working Group will ensure that there is coordination, alignment and synergy between what we are currently doing on campus and in new areas of focus and engagement.
The ideas, recommendations and strategies that came out of the strategic planning process have been incorporated in the DEI Initiative because we recognize that we do many things well at UM-Dearborn, so our focus is not starting from scratch, but making sure that there is alignment of our various efforts and we identify ways to achieve efficiencies, goals and objectives.
Units responsible for these functions will be involved in the process and the implementation of any new strategies.
