The University of Michigan-Dearborn appreciates those who have served in defense of our country.
We are grateful for the selfless service you have given and are honored to help you in the pursuit of your educational goals.
As part of the Center for Social Justice and Inclusion, Veteran Services mentors students as they progress through their college endeavor. The Veterans Services team is led and staffed by military veterans who are here to support you and help navigate any issues you may encounter. We are trained to disseminate information concerning the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) education benefit programs and to make referrals to appropriate university professionals to facilitate a smooth transition in relation to your academic endeavor.
We sponsor programs especially for veterans, including veteran resume workshops, veteran study groups, and many others.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, veteran services are delivered remotely. To interact with the Veteran Affairs Coordinator Tom Pitock, please use this link to find a day and time that fits your schedule. He will connect with you virtually.
Veteran Affairs Certification
Veterans Services works in harmony with Registration and Records to ensure the proper administration of military and veteran education programs and enrollment certifications.
